Whaea Kaiwai: KO HIKURANGI TE MAUNGA KO WAIAPU TE AWA KO HOROUTA TE WAKA KO POROURANGI TE MARAE KO NGATI POROU TE IWI Kia ora and greetings to you all. I am Felicity Kaiwai - Head of Taini House at Rotorua Girls' High School. I am a specialised subject teacher of Digital Technology. I teach a range of software and subjects that include Adobe Master Collection and MS Office software. Students gain knowledge in administration, database design, programming, web design, multimedia, system analysis and networking. Technology is forever evolving and our students are 21st Century Learners. It is up to us as educators to up skill ourselves and our students, encouraging Digital Citizens of the future. I am also involved in various co-curricular activities such as Basketball, Kapa Haka and eLearning. The most fulfilling part of this job is being able to make a difference in society by nurturing and inspiring citizens and leaders of the future - our tamariki!
